Power Clean 40kg,50,50,50,50 (nxt time will go to 52.5)
great work pete!
i sometimes find with a 5×5 pattern of something like cleans or snatches (technical movements) my brain gets muddled from a combination of the repetitiveness and fatigue – did you find that with the pc’s? i just sorta forget what i’m doing half way through a rep. haha! i think it’s a CNS fatigue issue… gotta manage the rest properly.
Thanks Grover, I think my problem with power cleans is that I tend to “over think” the exercise initially and block my neuromuscular conditioning. Once I relax, the technical movements seem to flow better and become easier. This creates a problem opposite to yours where the movement is awkward at the beginning and way better at the end even though I am starting to fatigue.
Train hard, Pete.
