The Cell – Kettlebell Basics Workshop Saturday 11 April 2009
Posted by The Cell on April 11th, 2009
The first Kettlebell Basics Workshop was held at The Cell today with 16 athletes in attendance. We covered all the fundamental Kettlebell movements as well as some fun, but very effective, variations.
Despite the warm weather, everyone had a lot of fun and from all reports, thoroughly enjoyed the event.
Each attendee was also given the comprehensive “The Cell – Kettlebell Programming” PDF. This document contains a number of Kettlebell training programs from a 6-week beginners program to intermediate programs covering strength, endurance and muscle building.
Stayed tuned for details about our next workshop, Olympic Weightlifting. This workshop will cover progressions and skill transfer exercises for the Clean & Jerk and Snatch. We will gradually build attendees confidence and ability in these areas with a goal of performing the Snatch and Clean & Jerk safely and competently by the end of the workshop.

Had an awesome time at the KB workshop learning some new moves.
Thanks Jason & Stef.
thanks guys, really enjoyed it!
been wanting to learn the turkish get up for a while especially
Well done to everyone who attended the Workshop yesterday, Jason and I were exteremly proud of everyone that was there and their level of progress which was reached. The more you concentrate, devote time and practice what you have learnt, you further increase your knowledge, body awareness and strengthen neuromuscular pathways, leading to a stronger, more stable and connected brain and body.
Again, well done to everyone, your enthusiasm is unparallel to none.
Best wishes for Easter.
Stef & Jason
