Active recovery = 1hr Road ride at an easy to medium pace.

AM: two hour surf lesson. still got lots to work on but definitely improving. shame it was the last lesson – now have to decide if i want to buy a board, or maybe do more lessons or something

    PM: 100 back squats @ 70kg

not for time, so took as much rest as required between sets. broke it down to 10 sets of 5 reps, 10 sets of 3 reps and 10 sets of 2 reps

hard, but not as bad as i thought it would be. picked 70kg because i think that’s what i used for my last 20 rep set

Just had a look at the results from the WODs at CrossFit Perth’s opening today – awesome work Stef and Luke!!! I’m bummed I couldn’t make it, looks like it would have been fun!

My only activity today was 3 hours of paintballing. Got away with only 6 welts, I must be getting better :)

    Another 2 x WOD’s today

Early’ish AM 25km bike TT – chose to do this on my windtrainer – big mistake – it started playing up and it was like riding with the back brake on – I’m not even going to post the time as I am so embarrassed by it.

Early arvo, 2 x RFT of 50 stepups / 40 box jumps / 30 situps / 20 press ups / 10 burpees – 13mins 36secs – was going to stepup on 18″ & jump on 24″ box but it became apparent during the stepups that there was no way my legs would make the 24″ so had to stick to the 18″ for box jumps – I’m feeling pretty smashed in my legs this week!
